Apacer is a Taiwanese memory maker that supplies both consumer and industrial markets. Our Apacer range is desktop DDR4, currently 8GB 288-pin DIMMs running at 3200MHz with CL22 timings. That is the sensible upgrade for an older desktop that is short on memory rather than short on processor. Check your board supports the speed: a DDR4 module will run at the lower of its own rating and what the motherboard offers, so a fast stick in a slow board simply runs slower.
