Custom PC
These are complete desktop PCs, built and tested rather than supplied as parts.
The honest case for a pre-built machine: it arrives working, with the operating system installed and a single warranty covering the whole thing. If something fails, one supplier is responsible rather than you diagnosing which component it was. For a business machine or a first PC, that is worth real money.
What to check before ordering, because it is where prebuilts differ most:
Upgradability. A machine built on standard ATX or micro-ATX parts with a normal power supply can take a new graphics card or more memory years later. Some compact and small-form-factor prebuilts use proprietary boards and supplies that cannot.
The power supply. On budget builds it is often where the saving was made, and it is the part that limits a future graphics card upgrade.
Memory and storage configuration — whether both memory slots are already filled decides whether an upgrade means adding or replacing.

Custom PC Buying Guide and FAQ
This Custom PC range covers laptop laptops. Below are the common questions.
What makes a good laptop laptop?
For laptop use, prioritise the right balance of performance, portability and battery life. A modern CPU, 16GB of RAM and a fast SSD suit most needs, with a good screen and a sturdy build for daily carrying.
What specs do I need for a laptop laptop?
Aim for at least 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, with 32GB and a larger drive if you multitask heavily or do creative work. Battery life and weight matter if you are often on the move.
How do I pick the right one?
Start with how you will use it, then match the processor, memory, storage and screen to that. Compare battery life and build quality, and set a budget that covers the specs you actually need.
