Gaming PCs
A pre-built gaming PC arrives working, with Windows installed and one warranty covering the whole machine — which is worth real money for a first gaming PC or for anyone who does not want to build one.
The graphics card decides gaming performance and is where most of the price sits. Match it to your target: entry cards for 1080p, mid-range for 1440p, flagship for 4K.
Three things that are easy to miss when comparing on the GPU alone:
The power supply. On budget prebuilts this is often where the saving was made, and it limits any future graphics card upgrade. Modern GPUs also draw brief power spikes that a basic unit can misread as a fault.
Upgradability. A machine built on standard ATX or micro-ATX parts with a normal power supply can take a new card, more memory or extra storage later. Some compact prebuilts use proprietary boards that cannot.
Memory and storage. 16GB is the floor for gaming, 32GB is comfortable; whether both memory slots are already filled decides whether an upgrade means adding or replacing.

Gaming PCs Buying Guide and FAQ
This Gaming PCs range covers gaming laptops. Below are the common questions.
What makes a good gaming laptop?
For gaming use, prioritise the right balance of performance, portability and battery life. A modern CPU, 16GB of RAM and a fast SSD suit most needs, with a good screen and a sturdy build for daily carrying.
What specs do I need for a gaming laptop?
Aim for at least 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, with 32GB and a larger drive if you multitask heavily or do creative work. Battery life and weight matter if you are often on the move.
How do I pick the right one?
Start with how you will use it, then match the processor, memory, storage and screen to that. Compare battery life and build quality, and set a budget that covers the specs you actually need.
