ASUS Cooling

ASUS builds cooling to match its motherboards and cases, and the ranges follow the same naming used across the rest of its hardware.

Fans. Prime is the value line, TUF Gaming the mainstream range including the TR120 ARGB, and ProArt the quieter, understated option for creator builds. Most come in 120mm and 140mm, with ARGB versions and multi-packs. A 140mm fan moves the same air as a 120mm at a lower speed, which usually means less noise.

Liquid coolers. ROG Strix LC and ROG Ryujin are the all-in-one range, in 240mm and 360mm radiator sizes, with the Ryujin carrying an integrated display. ProArt LC is the plainer equivalent.

The practical advantage of staying within one brand here is Aura Sync: fans, cooler, motherboard and memory lighting all controlled from one piece of software rather than three.

Check your case’s radiator mounting points and cooler height clearance before choosing.
