Corsair Cooling

Corsair’s cooling range covers case fans and all-in-one liquid coolers, and it is built around its iCUE software ecosystem for lighting and fan control.

Fans. The RS range is the straightforward line in 120mm and 140mm, plain and ARGB. The iCUE LINK fans are the more interesting development: they daisy-chain to one another and connect to a single hub, so a build with nine fans has one cable running to the motherboard instead of eighteen. If you are fitting a lot of fans in a glass-sided case, that is a genuine difference to how the build looks and how long it takes.

Liquid coolers. The iCUE and H-series all-in-ones come in 240mm, 360mm and larger radiator sizes. Check your case’s radiator mounting points and clearance before choosing.

A practical note on fans generally: choose static pressure models for radiators and restrictive mesh, and airflow models for open positions. A 140mm fan moves the same air at a lower speed than a 120mm, which usually means less noise.
