Arc B570

The Arc B570 is Intel’s value card in the current Battlemage generation, aimed at 1080p gaming with 10GB of memory — a notably generous amount at this price, since rivals at similar money commonly ship with 8GB. That extra memory is what stops texture-heavy modern games stuttering when they exceed a smaller card’s capacity.

Two genuine strengths beyond price. Arc cards have very capable video encoding, including AV1, which makes them unusually good value for streaming and video work. And they perform strongly in games built on modern APIs — DirectX 12 and Vulkan.

The corresponding caveat: performance in older DirectX 11 and DirectX 9 titles has historically been less consistent than the competition, though Intel’s drivers have improved a great deal since launch. If your library is mostly older games, check specific titles.

One compatibility point to settle first: Arc cards expect Resizable BAR to be enabled in the motherboard BIOS. Without it performance drops noticeably, and some older boards do not support it at all.
