ADATA makes memory across the range, and it splits into two names that tell you what you are buying.
ADATA Premier is the standard line — plain green or black modules at JEDEC speeds, aimed at office machines, business desktops and straightforward upgrades. It is usually the cheapest way to add capacity, and for anything other than gaming or content work the speed difference is not something you will notice.
XPG is the enthusiast brand. GAMMIX is the mainstream gaming line with heatspreaders and higher rated speeds, SPECTRIX adds RGB lighting, and LANCER is the DDR5 range. These carry XMP or EXPO profiles, which means the rated speed is reached by enabling one setting in the BIOS — without it the memory runs at the slower default, which is a common reason people think their new memory made no difference.
There are also ECC modules for workstations and servers that require them.
Match DDR4 or DDR5, DIMM or SO-DIMM, and buy a matched kit rather than separate modules where you need two.

Are ADATA memory any good?
ADATA is a well-regarded name in memory, with a range that spans budget to high-end. The best model depends on your needs and budget, so compare the key specs rather than choosing on the badge alone.
Which ADATA model should I choose?
Start with what you need from your memory, then pick the ADATA model whose features and price fit. If you want help comparing, our memory guide explains what to look for.
What should I check before buying?
Match the key specs to your setup and budget, check compatibility with your other parts or devices, and look at the warranty. The right ADATA product is the one that fits your needs, not just the most expensive.
