Ergonomic Mice
“Ergonomic” covers two quite different designs, and they suit different complaints.
A sculpted mouse keeps the normal orientation but contours the body so your hand rests rather than grips — the Kensington Pro Fit Ergo, Genius Ergo 8230S and Hama MW-500 are in this group. It is the easy upgrade: it feels familiar immediately and simply stops your hand tensing.
A vertical mouse rotates your hand roughly 60 to 90 degrees into a handshake position, which takes the twist out of the forearm. The Hama ECM-500R, Genius Ergo 8350S and JLab JBuds Vertical do this, and there is a dedicated vertical mice range. It is the better answer to an aching wrist or forearm, but it takes a few days to adjust and aiming is slower at first, so it is not the right choice for gaming.
If you are already in pain, the vertical shape is worth the adjustment. If you are preventing it, sculpted is easier to live with.

Ergonomic Mice Buying Guide and FAQ
This Ergonomic Mice range covers mice. Below are the common questions.
What should I look for in this mouse?
Ergonomic and vertical mice are shaped to keep your wrist in a more natural position for comfort.
Does DPI really matter?
Almost any modern mouse has a sensor far more accurate than you need, so do not chase the biggest DPI number. A shape that fits your hand and a weight you like matter more. Most people game at a few hundred to a couple of thousand DPI.
Wireless or wired, which is better?
Today's wireless mice are fast and low-latency with the freedom of no cable, while wired mice never need charging and cost less. For most people a good wireless mouse is worth it, and wired remains a solid value choice.
