Full HD Webcams
Full HD — 1920×1080 — is the practical standard for video calls, and for most people it is the right place to stop. Conferencing platforms compress the stream, and in a normal call window the difference between 1080p and higher resolutions is largely invisible.
What actually changes how you look, in order of impact:
Lighting. A lamp facing you improves a call more than any camera upgrade. Cameras struggle in dim rooms and with a bright window behind you.
Sensor and lens quality. A well-made 1080p camera beats a cheap 4K one in ordinary indoor light, because larger pixels gather more light. This is why price varies so much within the same resolution.
Field of view. Narrow frames one person; wide takes in a room. The wrong choice is why some cameras crop colleagues out.
Placement. At eye level, not looking up from a desk.
Useful extras: a privacy shutter, autofocus, and a built-in microphone with noise reduction.
The range covers HP, Lenovo, Kensington, Verbatim, Hama and Targus. See also 2K webcams.

Full HD Webcams Buying Guide and FAQ
This Full HD Webcams range covers webcams. Below are the common questions.
Do I need 1080p for a webcam?
A 1080p webcam is plenty for video calls, meetings and most streaming, and easy on your PC. For Zoom and Teams, 1080p is the sensible, good-value choice.
What webcam features matter most?
Autofocus to keep you sharp, good low-light performance for evening calls, and a sensible field of view make the biggest visible difference. A privacy shutter is a nice bonus.
Do I need a separate microphone?
Most webcams include a mic that is fine for casual calls. If you stream or record, a separate USB microphone will sound much clearer, so add one only if audio quality matters for your content.
