Samsung Odyssey
Samsung 27″ Odyssey G30D Gaming Monitor
In stock
Odyssey is Samsung’s gaming monitor line, and the G-number is the tier.
G3 and G5 are the value models — Full HD and QHD at 180Hz to 200Hz, which covers most gaming comfortably and is where the best value in the range sits.
G7 steps up to 4K at 360Hz, asking considerably more of a graphics card.
G8 and G9 are the flagships, mostly OLED, including the 34in ultrawide G85SD and the 49in super ultrawide models that replace a two-screen desk with one continuous 32:9 panel.
Samsung uses OLED across much of the upper range, which means true black, near-instant pixel response and no backlight glow in dark scenes.
Two practical notes. The very curved 1000R models are excellent for immersion and less suited to precise design work. And on the OLED models, use the built-in pixel-shift and refresh routines, and avoid leaving a static taskbar on screen all day.

Are Samsung monitors any good?
Samsung is a well-regarded name in monitors, with a range that spans budget to high-end. The best model depends on your needs and budget, so compare the key specs rather than choosing on the badge alone.
Which Samsung model should I choose?
Start with what you need from your monitors, then pick the Samsung model whose features and price fit. If you want help comparing, our monitors guide explains what to look for.
What should I check before buying?
Match the key specs to your setup and budget, check compatibility with your other parts or devices, and look at the warranty. The right Samsung product is the one that fits your needs, not just the most expensive.
