ASRock applies the same approach to power supplies as to its motherboards: put the specification in and price it competitively.
The ranges sort clearly. PRO is the value line, in B (Bronze) and G (Gold) variants at the wattages most builds need. Steel Legend is the upper-mainstream range, Gold and fully modular. Phantom Gaming (PG) sits alongside it for gaming builds, and Taichi is the flagship.
On sizing: a single mid-range card is comfortable on 650-750W, a high-end card on 850-1000W. A larger supply does not draw more electricity than the components ask for, and it usually runs quieter because it works further from its limit.
The specification to check if you are fitting a current NVIDIA graphics card is ATX 3.0 or 3.1 with the 12V-2×6 connector. Those units are designed for the brief power spikes modern GPUs produce — the failure mode otherwise being a machine that shuts down under load despite adequate wattage on paper.
Also decide on cabling: fully modular is tidier, non-modular is cheaper.

ASRock PSUs Buying Guide and FAQ
This ASRock PSUs range covers ASRock products. Below are the common questions.
Are ASRock power supplies any good?
ASRock is a well-regarded name in power supplies, with a range that spans budget to high-end. The best model depends on your needs and budget, so compare the key specs rather than choosing on the badge alone.
Which ASRock model should I choose?
Start with what you need from your power supplies, then pick the ASRock model whose features and price fit. If you want help comparing, our power supplies guide explains what to look for.
What should I check before buying?
Match the key specs to your setup and budget, check compatibility with your other parts or devices, and look at the warranty. The right ASRock product is the one that fits your needs, not just the most expensive.
