HP Series 5 Pro 23.8″ FHD USB-C Conferencing Monitor – 524pm

HP Series 5 Pro 23.8″ Conferencing Monitor – Built-In Camera, KVM and USB-C Charging

We designed the HP Series 5 Pro 23.8 inch FHD USB-C Conferencing Monitor – 524pm for professionals who spend hours on video calls. It pairs a crisp 23.8-inch IPS panel with a 5 MP AI camera. A single USB-C cable carries video, audio, and up to 100 W of charging power. Because the built-in speakers, microphone, and Ethernet jack are all integrated, desk clutter stays to a minimum.

Essential specifications

One-cable laptop charging and video

The monitor supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C. A single cable carries video, audio, and up to 100 W of power to your notebook. In practice, you plug in once and walk away fully charged. Because HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports are also present, you can connect a second source without swapping cables.

AI-enhanced camera and four-speaker audio

A built-in 5 MP camera with an infrared sensor keeps your face centred during calls. The IR sensor also supports Windows Hello facial sign-in. Four integrated speakers deliver 12 W of combined RMS output. A built-in microphone completes the conferencing package. Together, these components remove the need for a separate webcam, speakers, and desk mic.

Smooth visuals from a 100 Hz IPS panel

The flat IPS panel provides 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. Colours stay consistent even when you view the screen from the side. A 100 Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling and cursor movement noticeably smoother than on a standard 60 Hz display. HP rates typical contrast at 1500:1 with dynamic contrast up to 10,000,000:1. Because the matt anti-glare surface reduces reflections, you can work comfortably near a window.

Built-in KVM switch and USB hub

A KVM switch lets you control two connected computers with one keyboard and mouse. Press the on-screen button to swap between machines instantly. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub provides three downstream USB-A ports and one USB-C port. There is also an RJ-45 Ethernet jack for a stable wired network connection. This layout replaces a separate docking station for many users.

Fully adjustable stand and VESA mount

The included stand offers 15 cm of height adjustment. You also get ±45° swivel, ±90° pivot, and tilt from −5° to 23°. Rotating the screen to portrait orientation works well for coding or long documents. A 100 × 100 mm VESA pattern lets you attach an aftermarket arm instead. Flicker-free technology and a hardware low blue light solution reduce eye strain over long sessions.

Sustainable design with recycled materials

HP uses 85% ITE-derived closed-loop plastic in this monitor. At least 35% of the metal content is recycled. That includes 90% recycled aluminium in the stand. The panel contains 20% recycled glass, and ocean-bound plastic features in the construction. It carries ENERGY STAR, EPEAT Climate+, and TCO 10 certifications. Even the outer packaging is 100% sustainably sourced and fully recyclable.
