Why the HP OMEN 27q G2 27″ QHD 2560 x 1440 180Hz IPS Gaming Monitor – Black Elevates Competitive Play
The 180Hz refresh rate delivers silky smooth frame transitions in fast shooters and racing simulations. Combined with a 1ms Grey-to-Grey response time, rapid movements stay clear without ghosting. In practice, AMD FreeSync prevents screen tearing by synchronising your display directly with your graphics card.
Sharp QHD Visuals and Rich IPS Colour Reproduction
The 2560 x 1440 resolution provides a crisp pixel density of 109 ppi on a 27-inch screen. You get significantly more workspace and finer detail than standard 1080p monitors. Furthermore, the IPS panel ensures accurate 95% colour gamut coverage with wide 178-degree viewing angles. A peak brightness of 400 cd/m² also adds punchy highlights to HDR scenes.
Ergonomic Flexibility and Clean Desk Setup
Good posture matters during long sessions. The included stand offers 100 mm of smooth height adjustment, tilt, and full 90-degree bi-directional pivot. Built-in cable routing channels cords neatly away to keep your desk uncluttered. If you prefer monitor arms, standard 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting points are ready to use.
Eye Comfort and Built-in OSD Controls
We know extended gaming sessions can strain your eyes. This display features TÃœV certified flicker-free technology and hardware low blue light filtering. You can easily adjust visual profiles, colour balance, and frame counters directly through the OMEN Gaming Hub software.
