Slim Specs

Built to Survive the Unexpected

The HD710 Pro goes beyond standard durability ratings. Tested for 60 minutes underwater at 2 metres depth, it exceeds IPX8 requirements for water resistance. The drive remains fully dust-tight thanks to its precision-engineered seals. When the USB port cover is firmly closed, you can confidently use this drive in wet conditions – though always ensure the cover is properly secured before exposure to water.

Military-Grade Protection for Your Data

Engineered to US Army MIL-STD-810G 516.6 standards, this drive withstands drops from 1.5 metres without data loss. The triple-layer construction provides comprehensive protection: a tough silicone exterior absorbs initial impact, a shock-absorbing buffer dissipates force, and a rigid internal shell keeps the drive stable. Whether it slips from your desk or takes a tumble during transport, your files remain safe.

Smart Protection Technology

The HD710 Pro features exclusive G-Shock vibration sensing that actively protects your data. When sudden movement or impact is detected, the drive immediately pauses all operations to prevent read/write errors and potential data corruption. Once vibrations cease, normal operation resumes automatically. A clear status LED keeps you informed throughout this process.

Cross-Platform Compatibility

This drive works seamlessly across major operating systems without additional software. It’s compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10, Mac OS X 10.6 and later, and Linux Kernel 2.6 or later. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface ensures fast data transfer speeds when connected to compatible ports, while maintaining backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 ports.

Thoughtful Design Details

ADATA has considered every aspect of practical use. The drive includes a convenient groove around its shell for neat cable management – simply wrap the detachable USB cable when not in use to prevent tangles and loss. The ergonomic port cover opens and closes with one touch while maintaining complete waterproof integrity, eliminating the frustration of fiddly seals found on other rugged drives.
