Hama 00205164 HDMI Type A Male to Female Down Angled Adapter, Gold Plated – Black

Hama 00205164 – Clean Cable Routing for Tight Wall Mounts

Wall-mounted screens and slim AV racks often leave minimal clearance for standard video leads. The Hama 00205164 HDMI Type A Male to Female Down Angled Adapter, Gold Plated – Black solves this spatial challenge by redirecting your display connection downwards. This low-profile fitting protects your hardware ports from mechanical strain. It provides a secure interface for high-definition displays where rear access is strictly limited.

Core Hardware Specifications

Installing the Hama 00205164 HDMI Type A Male to Female Down Angled Adapter, Gold Plated – Black in Tight Spaces

Modern flat-panel televisions sit remarkably close to wall brackets. Standard HDMI plugs stick straight out, which can bend thick leads and damage internal television sockets. In practice, this 90-degree downward fitting redirects your cable immediately along the back panel. This layout preserves port integrity and allows flush mounting against flat surfaces.

Gold-Plated Contacts for Dependable Signal Integrity

Reliable digital video transmission requires stable electrical contact across all pins. This adapter features gold-plated connector contacts designed with low contact resistance. As a result, the fitting prevents oxidisation over extended deployment periods. Your media setup maintains secure, interference-free audiovisual passthrough without physical signal degradation.

Relieving Mechanical Strain on AV Hardware

Heavy, shielded HDMI cables exert continuous downward torque on horizontal video ports. Over time, that leverage can loosen internal solder joints inside your source or display equipment. Connecting through this rigid angle block transfers the directional pull away from the host socket. This protective layout extends the working lifespan of your primary entertainment hardware.
