About This Item

PNY NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell with 16 GB of ECC GDDR7, 4,352 CUDA cores and 545 AI TOPS. Half-height dual-slot on PCI Express 5.0 x8, four mini-DisplayPort 2.1b outputs, and 70 W taken from the slot with no power connector required.

Description

The PNY NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell is the way into Nvidia’s current professional range, and it keeps the trait that makes compact cards worth having: it needs 70 W and no supplementary power connector at all. Everything comes through the PCIe slot, in a half-height, dual-slot body that suits a small workstation or a standard business tower with a modest power supply.

What Blackwell brings at this size

You get 16 GB of GDDR7 with ECC on a 128-bit bus running at 288 GB/s. That is the same capacity as the Ada-generation cards it replaces, but on a newer, faster memory type — so work that already fitted in 16 GB simply moves through the card more quickly, and ECC keeps long unattended jobs trustworthy.

The GPU is built on TSMC’s 4 nm custom process: 21.9 billion transistors on a 181 mm² die, with 4,352 CUDA cores, 136 Tensor cores and 34 RT cores. PNY quotes 17 TFLOPS single precision, 52 TFLOPS of ray tracing and 545 AI TOPS. The interface is PCI Express 5.0 x8, and the card is certified VR ready.

Displays

Four mini-DisplayPort 2.1b outputs drive up to four screens. The jump from 1.4a to 2.1b is a real one: the newer standard carries enough bandwidth for 8K at 240 Hz or 16K at 60 Hz, so resolutions and refresh rates that used to need compression or two cables now travel down one.

Fitting it in a small chassis

It is 2.7 in (68.6 mm) tall, 6.6 in (167.6 mm) long and two slots wide. Cooling is a blower, which pushes hot air straight out of the back panel instead of circulating it inside the case — the right design when there is little room around the card. It weighs 299 g with the ATX bracket fitted, and a low-profile bracket is included. The only thing to confirm before ordering is two free slot widths; height, length and power are undemanding.

Who this is for

Pick this if you want current-generation professional hardware, certified drivers and ECC memory inside an ordinary desktop: CAD, design review, 3D viewport work, video editing and light local AI. If your models or datasets regularly push past 16 GB, the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF sits in the same 70 W half-height envelope with 24 GB and roughly twice the compute. If your machine is PCIe 4.0 and you just want a compact professional card, the RTX 2000E Ada costs a good deal less.
