About This Item
PNY NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition with 24 GB of ECC GDDR7, 8,960 CUDA cores and 770 AI TOPS. Half-height dual-slot on PCI Express 5.0 x8, four mini-DisplayPort 2.1b outputs with adapters supplied, and 70 W drawn from the slot.
You may also like
The PNY NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition fits 24 GB of ECC GDDR7 into a half-height, dual-slot card that still runs on 70 W and still has no power socket on it. That combination is the entire reason the card exists: tower-class memory capacity in a chassis that cannot physically take a tower-class GPU.
The memory is why you buy it
24 GB sits on a 192-bit bus at 432 GB/s. If you have run into the ceiling on a 16 GB card — dense point clouds, heavy CAD assemblies, 8K plates, or an AI model that stops just short of loading — this is the smallest and lowest-powered card that clears it. ECC means a single-bit error in a four-hour job gets corrected rather than silently written into the output.
The compute step is real too. 8,960 CUDA cores on a 378 mm² Blackwell die of 45.6 billion transistors, rated by PNY at 24 TFLOPS single precision, 73 TFLOPS of ray tracing and 770 AI TOPS, over PCI Express 5.0 x8.
Displays
Four mini-DisplayPort 2.1b outputs, and PNY puts four latching mini-DP to DisplayPort adapters in the box — a four-monitor desk works the day it arrives, with no cable order attached. DisplayPort 2.1b carries far more bandwidth than the 1.4a it replaces, and the card drives up to four displays at a maximum of 7680 x 4320.
Size, cooling and brackets
Half height, half length, two slots wide: 2.7 in (68.6 mm) by 6.6 in (167.6 mm), weighing 339 g with the ATX bracket attached, or 327 g on the low-profile bracket that ships alongside it. A blower fan exhausts through the rear bracket rather than into the case. Measure for two slot widths and you are done — there is no power cable to route and no clearance problem to solve.
Who this is for
Small-form-factor and rack workstations that need serious memory: simulation, large-assembly CAD, colour and finishing work, and local AI development where 16 GB is the thing actually holding you up. If your work fits comfortably inside 16 GB, the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell shares this size and power envelope for considerably less. If you need substantially more than 24 GB, the next step is an RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell and a case big enough to hold one.
