Seagate One Touch STKZ4000400 | 4TB Portable HDD

The Seagate One Touch STKZ4000400 external hard drive 4 TB Black offers a compact solution for UK users needing reliable mass storage. This 2.5-inch drive connects via USB 3.0 for fast data transfer to Windows and Mac systems. Because it is bus-powered, it requires no external power adapter, making it ideal for travel. It suits photographers, students, and professionals who need to consolidate files or back up projects securely. In practice, the aluminium housing provides durability while maintaining a lightweight profile at just 268 g.

Slim, High-Capacity Storage Design

This drive combines a refined aesthetic with practical capacity. The black aluminium housing offers a textured finish that resists fingerprints. It fits easily into a bag or pocket, measuring only 115.3 mm deep and 20.9 mm thick. Because it uses a 2.5-inch HDD, it provides 4 TB of storage without needing a power cable. So, you can carry your entire photo library or document archive without bulk.

Secure, Hardware-Encrypted Backup

Data security is a core feature of this model. It supports password protection and uses AES-256 hardware encryption. This standard is trusted globally for sensitive information. However, you must set a password to activate the encryption. The drive is compatible with Seagate’s backup software for scheduled, automated saves. This helps protect your work against accidental loss.

Seamless Plug-and-Play Connectivity

The drive uses a Micro-USB B connector and supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also known as USB 3.0). This ensures broad compatibility with most modern laptops and desktops. It works with both Windows and macOS out of the box. Note that it does not support Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or Thunderbolt. You should verify your computer has a compatible USB port.

Included Software & Creative Tools

Seagate bundles useful software with this drive. You get a one-year complimentary subscription to Mylio Create. This helps organise photos across devices. Additionally, a four-month membership to Adobe Creative Cloud photography plan is included. These tools assist with editing, managing, and sharing your media files.
