Ubiquiti U7 Outdoor | High-Performance WiFi 7 Access Point

The Ubiquiti U7 Outdoor 4300 Mbit/s White Power over Ethernet (PoE) delivers enterprise-grade wireless connectivity for demanding outdoor environments. This WiFi 7 access point combines four spatial streams with an integrated directional super antenna to provide reliable, high-speed networking across large outdoor areas.

Technical Specifications

Directional Antenna Performance for Extended Coverage

The U7 Outdoor features an integrated directional super antenna with 12.5 dBi gain that focuses wireless signals precisely where needed. This design significantly extends coverage range compared to omni-directional alternatives, making it ideal for connecting distant buildings, outdoor workspaces, or large property perimeters. The detachable antenna design allows for future upgrades or custom configurations when requirements change.

Robust Weatherproof Construction for Year-Round Deployment

Built with aluminium and polycarbonate housing, this access point withstands harsh outdoor conditions while maintaining optimal performance. The IPX6 rating protects against powerful water jets, ensuring reliable operation during heavy rain or cleaning cycles. Operating temperatures range from -30°C to 60°C, making it suitable for UK climates throughout all seasons. The compact 170 x 54.5 x 208mm footprint allows discreet installation on walls, poles, or ceilings.

Advanced Networking Features for Enterprise Environments

Supporting IEEE 802.11ax WiFi 7 standards alongside 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/be, this AP delivers future-proof connectivity with backward compatibility. The 2500 Mbit/s Ethernet LAN port provides ample bandwidth for high-throughput applications. Quality of Service (QoS) support prioritises critical traffic, while VLAN compatibility enables network segmentation for security and management. Rate limiting features help control bandwidth usage across connected devices.

Flexible Power and Mounting Options

Power over Ethernet eliminates the need for separate power supplies, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter. The 19W maximum power consumption remains efficient for continuous outdoor operation. A comprehensive mounting kit enables installation on various surfaces including ceilings, poles, and walls. The white finish blends seamlessly with most architectural styles while maintaining professional aesthetics.
