Ubiquiti airCube 867 Mbps PoE Black

Ubiquiti airCube 867 Mbit/s | Dual-Band PoE Wi-Fi Access Point

The Ubiquiti airCube 867 Mbit/s Black Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a compact, dual-band Wi-Fi access point designed for UK homes and small offices needing reliable wireless coverage. Supporting IEEE 802.11ac with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, it delivers up to 867 Mbit/s throughput while simplifying installation through PoE passthrough and mobile app configuration.

Key Specifications

Enhanced Wi-Fi Coverage with Super Antenna

The airCube’s innovative Super Antenna design provides wider coverage than standard Wi-Fi access points, reducing dead spots in larger UK homes or offices. By supporting both 2.4 GHz for range and 5 GHz for speed, it adapts to different device needs and network loads. Its sleek black housing allows placement on floors or tables without disrupting décor, helping maintain strong signal strength where you need it most.

Simplified Management via UNMS and UMobile

Remote network management becomes straightforward using Ubiquiti’s UNMS software, allowing centralised control from a PC or Mac. For on-site setup, the free UMobile app for iOS and Android guides users through installation and configuration without technical expertise. This combination reduces downtime and makes troubleshooting accessible, ideal for users who want enterprise-level control without complexity.

Power over Ethernet Passthrough for Flexible Deployment

The 24V PoE passthrough capability means the airCube can draw power from and supply power to compatible airMAX CPE devices using a single cable. This reduces cable clutter and simplifies deployment in locations where mains power is unavailable. With a maximum power consumption of 8.5 W, it operates efficiently within typical UK PoE switch budgets.
