Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders have been live since Thursday 25 June 2026, and Rockstar has now confirmed the prices, the two editions and the free Vintage Vice City Pack. The launch is still set for 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Below is what has been confirmed, what has changed since pre-orders opened, and the one thing fans are still waiting on: Trailer 3.
Pre-orders: what is confirmed
Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders went live on Thursday 25 June 2026 and are open now. You can pre-order digitally on the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store, and through selected high-street and online retailers.
Unlike every previous GTA launch, Rockstar kept the range simple: there are only two editions, a Standard and an Ultimate, with no separate Collector’s or physical special edition, despite plenty of fans searching for one. The other twist is that the physical Standard disc is not really a disc at all: reports at launch confirmed the boxed version ships with a download code rather than the full game on the disc, so a fast internet connection is effectively mandatory either way.
GTA 6 release date: 19 November 2026
The launch date is set for 19 November 2026. It has held firm through the pre-order announcement, which is reassuring after the delays this project has been through. Landing in mid-November puts it right at the start of the holiday window, exactly where Rockstar wants its biggest ever release.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
This is the big question for PC players, and the straight version is: not at launch. Grand Theft Auto VI releases on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only on 19 November 2026. Rockstar has not announced a PC version and has given no PC release date.
Take-Two’s leadership has been open about why. The studio releases on console first to serve its core console audience before opening up to other platforms. Going on Rockstar’s own history with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, a PC port has tended to follow the console launch by roughly a year to 18 months, which would point to a possible GTA 6 PC release some time in 2027. To be clear, that is informed speculation based on past patterns, not a date Rockstar has confirmed.
UK price and the two editions
The wait for pricing is over. In the UK, the Standard Edition costs £69.99 and the Ultimate Edition costs £89.99 (that is 79.99 and 99.99 US dollars). A £70 baseline makes GTA 6 one of the first mainstream games to plant a flag at the new premium price point, and it is the number most people will pay.

Every pre-order, on either edition, includes the free Vintage Vice City Pack. It is an 80s Miami-coded bundle built around a ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan and garage plus period vehicles and outfits, and Rockstar has said it will also come with any digital purchase made before 20 November. The Ultimate Edition’s extra £20 buys the deeper GTA Online layer, exclusive Vice City outfits, hairstyles, tattoos and in-game bonuses, so it is aimed squarely at people who already know they will live in GTA Online. If that is not you, the Standard Edition is the honest choice: it is the same single-player game.
GTA 6 Trailer 3: where is it?
This is the question filling forums right now, so here is the straight position as of late July 2026: Rockstar has not announced Trailer 3, has not dated it, and has not run a countdown. Every “it drops today” post you have seen is fan speculation, not a studio confirmation. Hopes that a third trailer would land alongside pre-orders on 25 June came and went with no new video.
What the calendar tells us is more useful than the rumours. Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, reports earnings on 7 August 2026, and a marketing beat around a major investor date would be logical for a November launch. The most repeated rumour therefore points to late July or August, but treat that as an educated guess, not a leak. With the game four months out, a fresh trailer is a question of when, not if, and the smart move is to ignore the daily “confirmed” posts and watch Rockstar’s own channels.
The cover art: Jason and Lucia
Alongside the pre-order date, Rockstar revealed the official GTA 6 cover art. It keeps the series’ classic collage style and puts the two playable leads, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, front and centre against the neon, Miami-inspired streets of Vice City. It is the first mainline GTA to build its story around a dual-protagonist pairing, and the reveal has only pushed the hype higher.
Is your PC ready for GTA 6?
Because there is no PC version yet, there are no official PC system requirements to plan around. So our honest advice is simple: do not rush to upgrade your PC for GTA 6 specifically. There is nothing concrete to target until Rockstar announces a PC version and publishes real specs.
That said, if you are already building or upgrading for the games you play right now, it makes sense to build with a little headroom so you are ready whenever the PC version does arrive. In practice that means a current-generation graphics card with at least 12GB of VRAM, a modern six or eight-core processor, 32GB of DDR5, and a fast NVMe SSD.
