RTX 5080 Super

The RTX 5080 Super has not launched yet. Reports point to Q3 2026 with 24GB of GDDR7, up from 16GB. Until stock lands, the cards below are the RTX 5080 models we sell today, the card the Super will replace, and this page switches to Super stock the morning it arrives. Follow the countdown in our RTX 50 Super tracker.

RTX 5080 Super: what we know so far

The RTX 5080 Super is the expected refresh of the RTX 5080, and every consistent report says the same thing: the upgrade is memory. 24GB of GDDR7 using 3GB modules, against 16GB today, with only modest clock changes. For 4K players and creators, that extra headroom is the difference between a card you replace in two years and one you keep for five.

The reported timeline: a reveal originally pencilled around CES 2026 slipped, and the working window is now Q3 2026. NVIDIA has confirmed nothing officially. We update this page and the full tracker the day that changes.

Should you wait? If you game at 4K and your current card copes, yes. If you need a card this week, the RTX 5080 above remains the second-fastest gaming card money buys, and our honest comparison guide covers every alternative at this tier.
