Samsung Laptops
Samsung’s laptops divide into two quite different families, and the name tells you which you are looking at.
Galaxy Book machines run Windows. They are thin-and-light laptops with Samsung’s display expertise behind them — several models use AMOLED panels, which give the deep black and colour saturation you see on a Samsung phone and which a standard laptop LCD cannot match.
Galaxy Chromebook machines run ChromeOS: the Chrome browser, web apps, Google Workspace and Android apps. Fast on modest hardware, very simple to manage, and unable to run desktop Windows software. Excellent value for study, browsing and documents.
The genuine extra if you already own Samsung hardware is the ecosystem: linking a Galaxy phone for calls, messages and file transfer on the laptop, and using a Galaxy Tab as a second screen. If you are in that ecosystem it is a real convenience; if not, it counts for nothing.
As always, check memory (8GB is the floor, 16GB is comfortable) and whether it is soldered.

Samsung Laptops Buying Guide and FAQ
This Samsung Laptops range covers Samsung laptops. Below are the common questions.
Are Samsung laptops any good?
Samsung is a well-known laptop maker with models spanning everyday, business and gaming use. The right one depends on your needs, so look at the processor, memory, storage and screen rather than the badge alone.
Which Samsung laptop should I choose?
Decide what you need first: a light everyday laptop, a business machine, or a gaming laptop with RTX graphics. Then pick the Samsung model with a modern CPU, at least 16GB of RAM and a fast SSD that fits your budget.
What should I check before buying a Samsung laptop?
Check the processor and graphics for the work you do, the RAM and storage (16GB and a 512GB or larger SSD is a good baseline), the screen size and quality, and the battery life. For gaming, focus on the RTX graphics and cooling.
