Travel Bags
Travel bags are for journeys where a shoulder strap stops being reasonable.
Rolling cases take the weight off entirely. They are worth it for anyone carrying a large laptop plus charger, documents and a second device through airports and stations, or for anyone who simply should not be carrying weight on one shoulder. The trade is bulk and a little extra weight from the wheels and frame, which is why they suit travel rather than a short commute.
What to check on a rolling case: wheel quality (this is what fails first and what determines how it handles a pavement rather than a smooth concourse), the handle length relative to your height, and whether the laptop section is removable so it can go through security separately.
Specialist travel bags cover devices with awkward shapes — headsets, controllers and equipment that does not fit a laptop compartment.
A trolley strap on an ordinary laptop bag — a sleeve on the back that slides over a suitcase handle — is often the better answer if you already travel with a suitcase.

Travel Bags Buying Guide and FAQ
Below are the common questions about choosing the right travel bags.
What should I look for in travel bags?
Focus on the features that matter for how you will use them, and match the spec to your setup and budget. If you are not sure where to start, our Travel guide covers the basics.
How do I choose the right one?
Decide what you need first, then compare options on the specs that affect your use, not just the price. Check that it is compatible with the rest of your kit before you buy.
What is the best value option?
The best value is the product that covers what you need without paying for features you will not use. Compare like for like, check the warranty, and pick a reputable brand for peace of mind.
