Dell XPS

XPS is Dell’s premium consumer laptop line, and its reason for existing is design — a machined aluminium chassis, very small screen bezels, and displays that are consistently among the best fitted to a Windows laptop, including OLED options on several models.

The model number is the screen size: XPS 13, XPS 14, XPS 16.

Two things to weigh. Ports: the thin chassis means few of them, and recent XPS models lean heavily on USB-C, so factor in a dock or adapter if you connect a lot. And sustained performance: a thin laptop cannot cool a high-power processor as long as a thicker one, so for hours of rendering or compiling a workstation chassis will hold its speed better.

Where XPS is the right answer is a machine carried daily where screen quality and weight matter more than ports.
