MSI Summit
Summit is the MSI range aimed at business and professional users — the machines with no gaming styling, designed to look appropriate in a meeting.
The focus is on portability and versatility. Chassis are thin aluminium in 13in to 16in sizes, and several models are convertibles, with a screen that folds all the way back into tablet mode and stylus support for note-taking, mark-up and presentations.
Business features are the other half of the proposition: fingerprint or facial recognition login, TPM security, and a port selection chosen for docking rather than for gaming peripherals.
What you give up against MSI’s gaming ranges is sustained graphics performance — a thin business chassis is not built to run a GPU hard for hours. What you gain is battery life, weight and a machine that behaves professionally.

MSI Summit Buying Guide and FAQ
This MSI Summit range covers MSI laptops. Below are the common questions.
Are MSI laptops any good?
MSI is a well-known laptop maker with models spanning everyday, business and gaming use. The right one depends on your needs, so look at the processor, memory, storage and screen rather than the badge alone.
Which MSI laptop should I choose?
Decide what you need first: a light everyday laptop, a business machine, or a gaming laptop with RTX graphics. Then pick the MSI model with a modern CPU, at least 16GB of RAM and a fast SSD that fits your budget.
What should I check before buying a MSI laptop?
Check the processor and graphics for the work you do, the RAM and storage (16GB and a 512GB or larger SSD is a good baseline), the screen size and quality, and the battery life. For gaming, focus on the RTX graphics and cooling.
