Antec Cooling

Antec’s cooling range covers case fans, air coolers and the controllers that drive them.

The useful thing to understand when buying fans is where each one will sit. A fan mounted in an open position — a case exhaust, or an intake behind a mesh panel — wants airflow. A fan pushing air through a restriction — a radiator, a dense heatsink, a filtered front panel — wants static pressure. Using the wrong type is a common reason a build with plenty of fans still runs warm.

Size matters too: a 140mm fan moves the same air as a 120mm at a lower speed, which usually means less noise. Check what your case accepts.

ARGB models add addressable lighting. If you fit several, an ARGB controller or fan hub keeps them on one channel and saves motherboard headers — worth buying at the same time rather than discovering the shortage mid-build.

The range also includes compact air coolers for basic builds.
