Cooler Master Cooling
Cooler Master’s cooling range is organised by name, and the Hyper series is one of the longest-running products in PC building.
Hyper is the air cooler line. The Hyper 212 has been the default budget tower cooler for years, and the Nano and smaller models cover compact builds. An air cooler needs no maintenance, cannot leak, and at most price points matches liquid cooling — check its height against your case clearance and that it will not foul tall memory.
MasterLiquid is the all-in-one liquid cooler range, in 120mm, 240mm and 360mm radiator sizes. The advantage is moving heat away from the processor to a radiator at the case edge, which suits small cases and very tall components. Check your case’s radiator mounting points before choosing a size.
Mobius and the other fan ranges cover 120mm and 140mm case and radiator fans, with ARGB versions.
A 140mm fan moves the same air as a 120mm at a lower speed, which usually means less noise.
