Gigabyte’s cooling range is built to pair with its motherboards, graphics cards and cases, and the AORUS name marks the enthusiast tier.
Liquid coolers. The AORUS WATERFORCE all-in-one range covers 240mm, 280mm and 360mm radiator sizes, with the higher models carrying an LCD display on the pump head showing temperatures or custom images. Before choosing a size, check your case’s radiator mounting points — a 360mm radiator needs three fan positions in a row, which not every mid tower has.
Air coolers and fans cover the usual 120mm and 140mm sizes in plain and ARGB versions.
The practical advantage of staying within one brand is RGB Fusion, which controls the lighting on the cooler, motherboard, memory and graphics card from a single piece of software rather than three — more of a relief than it sounds once a build has several lit components.
On fans generally: static pressure designs for radiators and restrictive mesh, airflow designs for open positions, and the largest size the case accepts for the least noise.
