MSI Mice
MSI’s mice are aimed at the same builder as its motherboards and graphics cards — someone who wants a competent gaming mouse without paying enthusiast prices.
The ranges are straightforward. CLUTCH is the core gaming line, wired and wireless. FORGE is the value range, often sold alongside a matching keyboard. Versa covers the wireless models.
What to look at when choosing, in order of how much it will actually affect you:
Shape and size, against your hand and grip style. A symmetrical body suits a claw or fingertip grip; a contoured right-handed shape suits a palm grip. This matters more than any specification on the box.
Weight. Lighter mice are easier to move quickly, which is why competitive mice have got lighter every year.
Wired or wireless. Modern wireless gaming mice have no meaningful latency penalty; the trade is charging and a little extra weight.
DPI figures above a few thousand are largely marketing — almost nobody plays above 3,200.

MSI Mice Buying Guide and FAQ
This MSI Mice range covers MSI products. Below are the common questions.
Are MSI mice and keyboards any good?
MSI is a well-regarded name in mice and keyboards, with a range that spans budget to high-end. The best model depends on your needs and budget, so compare the key specs rather than choosing on the badge alone.
Which MSI model should I choose?
Start with what you need from your mice and keyboards, then pick the MSI model whose features and price fit. If you want help comparing, our mice and keyboards guide explains what to look for.
What should I check before buying?
Match the key specs to your setup and budget, check compatibility with your other parts or devices, and look at the warranty. The right MSI product is the one that fits your needs, not just the most expensive.
