Specifications

Ultra-Quiet Cooling with iCOOL Mode

The unit features a 135mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan. This design uses a herringbone structure to minimise noise and extend lifespan. You can toggle the iCOOL mode via a physical switch. When enabled, the fan stays off during low to medium loads. This reduces system noise significantly. However, the fan activates automatically when loads or temperatures rise.

Stable Power with Japanese Capacitors

This PSU uses 105°C Japanese-made capacitors and solid capacitors. This ensures prolonged lifespan and consistent electrical performance. The unit also includes a 5V Boost circuit. It provides extra headroom for stable voltage delivery. Because the components are high-quality, the system remains reliable under continuous use.

ATX 3.1 Compliance and Power Excursion

The Steel Legend SL-850G meets the ATX 3.1 standard. It supports a total power excursion of 200%. This means it can handle瞬时 power spikes from modern graphics cards without shutting down. The native PCIe 12V-2×6 cable ensures a direct connection for the latest GPUs. This reduces the need for adapters and improves signal integrity.

Easy Installation and Visual Feedback

ASRock includes a Dual Colour design on the connectors. The Classic Green connectors help you verify a secure plug-in. This visual cue reduces installation errors. The flat cable design also aids in cable management within tight UK cases. The unit’s dimensions are standard 150mm x 150mm x 86mm. It fits most ATX chassis easily.

Comprehensive Safety and Protection

Safety is a priority with a full suite of protections. These include OCP, SCP, OVP, UVP, OTP, and OPP. These safeguards protect your components during normal and extreme power levels. The unit also features a high MTBF of 100,000 hours at 25°C. This indicates long-term reliability for daily use.
