Akasa Cooling
Akasa is a long-established cooling specialist, and the range covers three areas that are worth knowing about separately.
Fans. Case and CPU fans in the usual sizes, including very quiet low-speed models and slim variants for tight clearances. As with any fan, choose static pressure designs for radiators and restrictive mesh and airflow designs for open positions, and fit the largest size the case accepts — a 140mm fan moves the same air as a 120mm at a lower speed, which is quieter.
Thermal materials. Thermal paste, pads and M.2 SSD heatsinks. A fast NVMe drive under sustained load will throttle without a heatsink; PCIe 5.0 drives need one without exception.
Fanless enclosures. Akasa is unusual in making completely passive cases, chiefly for Intel NUC and small-board systems, where the chassis itself is the heatsink. The result is a machine with no moving parts at all — silent, and with nothing to fail or collect dust. That suits media players, signage, industrial use and anywhere silence genuinely matters.
