ARCTIC Cooling

ARCTIC is a Swiss company that has built its reputation on selling genuinely good cooling for very little money. The naming is worth learning because it tells you what a part is for.

Fans. The P series is pressure-optimised, designed to push air through a restriction — a radiator, a mesh front panel, a dense heatsink. The F series is airflow-optimised for open positions like a case exhaust. Both come in 80mm, 120mm and 140mm, with Slim variants for tight clearances.

Air coolers. Alpine is the compact low-profile range for small cases and basic builds; Freezer is the tower range that steps up to serious processors, with server variants too.

Liquid Freezer is the all-in-one liquid cooler line, in 240mm, 280mm, 360mm and 420mm radiator sizes, with the Pro versions adding a thicker radiator.

There are also M.2 SSD coolers, thermal paste and PWM splitter cables.

Check radiator size against your case’s mounting points, and cooler height against its clearance figure.
