Antec Cases

Antec is one of the longest-established case manufacturers, and the range spans plain office chassis to enthusiast towers.

VSK is the plain business line — no glass, no lighting, sensible and inexpensive, which is exactly right for an office machine. NX is the value gaming range with tempered glass and ARGB. Flux and Performance are the upper ranges, built around airflow, with the Performance series the flagship.

The question worth asking of any case, and Antec’s range makes it easy to answer, is airflow versus appearance. A mesh or well-vented front lets intake fans pull cold air straight onto the components; a solid glass front looks cleaner and restricts it. If you are running a warm processor or a large graphics card, favour the mesh — the temperature and noise difference is larger than any other case feature.

Check three numbers against the specification before ordering: graphics card length, CPU cooler height, and radiator size if you plan on liquid cooling.
