Made to Live Outside
The enclosure is IP65 rated against dust and water jets, and TP-Link adds lightning and ESD protection. It is rated to work from -30 °C to 60 °C, so a British winter or a hot summer wall is within spec. The included kit mounts it on a wall or a pole, or it can simply stand on a table indoors.
One Cable for Power and Data
Both Ethernet ports run at 2.5 Gbps and sense WAN or LAN automatically. Power it from an 802.3at PoE switch or injector and a single cable carries data and power, which is much easier than running a mains socket outdoors. The AC adapter is in the box if you prefer.
Joins Your Existing Deco Mesh
The BE25-Outdoor works with other Deco units to form one network with seamless roaming, using wireless or wired backhaul. Wi-Fi 7 features include Multi-Link Operation, 160 MHz channels and 4K-QAM, and TP-Link’s HomeShield security, parental controls and VPN server/client are supported.
