TP-Link Tapo C210 Pan/Tilt AI Wi-Fi Security Camera

TP-Link Tapo Pan/Tilt | 2K QHD Indoor Security

This TP-Link Tapo Pan/Tilt AI Home Security Wi-Fi Camera delivers 2560×1440 resolution for clear indoor monitoring. It is designed for UK households needing flexible surveillance without subscription fees. The unit provides AI-driven detection for people and pets, plus two-way audio for communication. It supports local storage via microSD cards up to 512GB. However, it operates strictly on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.

Key Specifications

Smart AI Detection & Tracking

The camera uses advanced algorithms to distinguish between people, pets, and vehicles. It can also recognise specific sounds like a baby crying or glass breaking. When motion is detected, the lens tracks the subject automatically. This keeps the intruder in the frame while you receive a notification. You can filter alerts by activity type to reduce false alarms.

Panoramic 2K Coverage

A 360° horizontal viewing angle ensures broad coverage of your room. The 2K QHD sensor captures fine details, allowing you to zoom in without significant quality loss. Because the lens is motorised, you can adjust the view remotely via the app. This is ideal for checking multiple areas of a room from a single device.

Flexible Storage & Privacy

Recordings can be saved locally to a microSD card (supporting up to 512GB). Alternatively, you can subscribe to Tapo Care for cloud backup. To protect your privacy, the app allows you to set Privacy Zones. These block out specific areas, such as your bed or desk, from being recorded. Only the zones you choose are monitored.

Two-Way Audio

The built-in microphone and speaker allow for real-time communication. You can speak to family members or warn off unwanted visitors via the Tapo app. Because the audio is full-duplex, conversations feel natural. This feature is also useful for checking on pets while you are out.
