Quick Specifications

Intelligent Dual-Lens Tracking

The Tapo C246D combines a fixed wide-angle lens with a pan/tilt telephoto lens that automatically tracks movement. When the wide lens detects motion, people, or pets, the telephoto lens pivots to maintain focus, ensuring you never miss important activity. This synchronised tracking works seamlessly to follow subjects across your property.

360° Patrol with Custom Presets

Activate Patrol Mode for continuous 360° rotation or set up to eight preset viewing points for key locations. Schedule specific areas to be monitored at certain times, perfect for checking entrances when you’re away or monitoring play areas during the day.

Weatherproof Design for UK Conditions

Engineered to withstand British weather, the IP65-rated housing protects against rain, snow, dust, and temperatures from -20°C to 50°C. Whether mounted on an exterior wall or placed indoors, the camera delivers reliable performance year-round.

Smart AI Detection Without Subscriptions

Built-in AI recognises people, vehicles, pets, and even baby cries, sending targeted notifications without monthly fees. Customise which events trigger alerts, reducing false alarms while ensuring you’re informed about genuine security concerns.
