Key Specifications

4K Ultra HD with AI Motion Tracking

The TP-Link Tapo C660 captures crisp 4K Ultra HD footage at 20fps, delivering exceptional detail for identifying faces, licence plates, and movement patterns. The advanced CMOS sensor with 8MP resolution ensures sharp images even in challenging lighting conditions. When motion is detected, the AI-powered system automatically tracks subjects across your property, maintaining focus as they move. This intelligent tracking eliminates blind spots that plague fixed-position cameras, providing comprehensive 360° coverage without manual adjustment.

Solar-Powered Operation with Backup Storage

Engineered for UK weather conditions, the solar-powered design provides continuous operation with battery backup for extended cloudy periods. The camera supports up to 512GB of local microSD storage, offering approximately 379 hours of 4K recording – roughly 16 days of continuous footage. Secure your recordings with password protection through the Tapo app, ensuring your surveillance data remains private without relying on cloud subscriptions. For expanded storage needs, the system integrates with Tapo H500 for up to 16TB of centralised video management.

Smart Alerts and Custom Protection Zones

Receive instant notifications when the camera detects people, vehicles, or pets through advanced AI algorithms. Custom activity zones allow you to define specific areas for monitoring, reducing false alerts from passing traffic or wildlife. The two-way audio system enables direct communication through the built-in microphone and speaker, perfect for deterring unwanted visitors or speaking with delivery personnel. Integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant provides voice-activated viewing, making it simple to check your property hands-free.
