Technical Specifications

180° Panoramic Coverage for Fewer Cameras

Covering large outdoor spaces like car parks, playgrounds, or building perimeters often means installing multiple cameras. The TP-Link InSight S385PI’s 180° panoramic lens eliminates blind spots in a single unit, reducing installation time, cabling, and ongoing maintenance. Its 8MP 4K resolution ensures every corner remains sharp and identifiable, even at distance.

Active Defence with Red-Blue Warning Lights

Deterrence is built in. When motion or AI events are detected, the camera triggers red-blue flashing lights and a loud siren—more attention-grabbing than standard white LEDs. Custom voice audio can also be uploaded, allowing personalised warnings. This active defence feature works in real time to discourage intruders before they act.

AI-Powered Human & Vehicle Detection

False alarms from animals, shadows, or foliage are minimised thanks to AI-based human and vehicle classification. The system distinguishes people and vehicles from other objects, sending accurate push notifications to your phone. VIGI AI analytics also allow filtering by attributes like clothing colour or vehicle type, speeding up post-event searches.

Advanced Video Enhancement for All Conditions

True WDR balances bright and dark areas in high-contrast scenes, ensuring licence plates or faces remain visible near windows or in mixed lighting. Smart IR adjusts infrared intensity to prevent glare at close range while maintaining clarity at 44 m. 3D DNR reduces noise in low-light footage without sacrificing detail, and white balance keeps colours natural under varying conditions.

Flexible Audio Integration & Remote Access

Two-way audio with built-in microphone and speaker supports live communication. Audio In/Out and Alarm In/Out ports allow connection to external sirens, access control, or alarm systems. Remote viewing is available via web browser or mobile app, with secure HTTPS encryption and password protection keeping your feed private.
